Today we spent most of the day on the bus making some quick stops. One of the stops was at Boubdary Falls. We had to hike down a half mile of steps but it was such a serene spot with the waterfall. I of course had to hike through the bushes and rocks so I could get right next to the waterfall. One of the guys on the tour lost at a card game so he had to swim in the cold water.
When we walked back to the top we sat at the picnic benches and made lunch. Then we stopped at Rasberry falls before heading to Yamba.
Our hotel in Yamba was right on the water so we had a beautiful view of the ocean. We dropped of our bags and walked down to the water to throw around the Australian football. It is very similar to an american football except much lighter and fatter. Then we all walked down to the lighthouse to see the sunset. A few of us walked along the seawall and spotted some dolphins.
After dinner some of us walked back down to the beach. It’s amazing that there was quite a bit of city light but you could still see the milkway and a TON of stars.
